《让子弹飞》英文观后感

Some people are complaining the rising prices, or the hardships of living. I'm too lazy to pay attention on those. Instead of complaining, lying down and enjoying movies must be a good choice.


"Let the Bullets Fly" (《让子弹飞》)is a wonderful movie, in which there are so much interesting lines. Among those, in my opinion, these two are the best: The first sentence is said by Master Tang(汤师爷：葛优饰演，十分搞笑). When first arriving in Goose City, they learned that taxes for the next 30 years had been levied in advance. Master Tang was very upset. At this time, Zhang Mazi, the fake county magistrate, comforted him and said: “We do not earn money from the poor!” Hearing this, Master Tang return by the following sentence with a puzzled expression: “If we won’t earn the money of the poor, then whose money we will earn?”（“不搞穷人的钱？哪搞谁的钱？）

The second sentence is also from Tang. Huang Silang encouraged Zhang Mazi to fight bandits, which is apparently a trap to destroy Zhangmaziand his fellows. Master Tang is not intelligent enough to see it, so he made a ridiculous confession to Huang Silang: "We do not have the courage to suppress the bandits, but we have the courage to accumulate wealth using the opportunity; and the courage is very big!"（他向黄四郞说：剿匪的胆量我们没有；但借机敛财的胆量我们有，而且很大！”）

What a Master Tang, he really dares to tell the truth!(好一个汤师爷，他什么实话都敢瞎咧咧！)

I heard a girl, whose family name is Muzi(木子), and first name Xue(雪), was sent to a place where the people who are not sane gather, through a procedure suspected of being questionable. I heard that this name is not encouraged to be mentioned online, and I wonder whether it will become a symble of taboo. I am completely ignorant about this girl, so am not qualified to make any comment about her, or the debates about her online.


Then I review an old film “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”(---一个飞过布谷鸟巢的人，中文译名《飞越疯人院》）. The film tells a story about a guy who was a sane man but was sent to an madhouse, where he met so many funny persons and interesting things.
